A welcome from the Committee

The Verwood Chamber is now entering its 44th year and being one of the fastest growing towns in Europe we have plenty to give!  The chamber is a great way to meet new businesses, to build on existing relationships and have a support network behind you.  We are delighted to have a variety of members and look forward to welcoming new members into the fold.

The vision of the chamber stays true and includes helping businesses who have found the recent recession tough, providing training at no cost, being the centre of community and commerce and making sure that people know about Verwood and exactly what it has to offer.

The Committee

The chamber committee is made up of a variety of local business people who give their expertise to the chamber on a voluntary basis.

Our current Chairperson is Vicky Williams.  Vicky is the first lady chairperson for the chamber in its history.  She is Commercial Manager for Wilts & Dorset buses and is a local resident.  Having been on the chamber committee for the last four years, Vicky has been in the background of ensuring that the chamber continues to grow and develop at the rate it needs to, enabling it to support the local community and businesses.

Our website is now online thanks to our website designer and committee member Richard Gosler, of Pixelhaus.  The new look site has many offers, deals and details of people within the chamber and all our events for the next 12 months are up online.  Have a good look through the site - and remember it is free to be listed and send us your news, that's what the chamber is here for!
