Originally formed in 1993 we decided to call the company Pixelhaus as a homage to the Weimar Bauhaus, one of the great schools of design of the 20th century. One of their key principles was that 'Form follows function' or to put in another way, keep it simple and this is something we are keen advocates of.

Many websites can be too clever for their own good and this can get in the way of usability, so we endevour to provide clean, good looking, original websites that are easy to use and as accessible as possible. This has the added bonus of making them 'search engine friendly'.
